ABOUT

Yoga Tree is a sanctuary from the pressures of everyday life.

Let Yoga help you to unwind, reflect and transform your mind, body and soul in tranquility.

Yoga Tree classes are a casual blend of Hatha/ Iyengar and Roll and Release Yoga.

Hatha Yoga classes are slow paced, which is ideal for beginners but all levels of yogis and yoginis can benefit from a Hatha practice.

There will most likely be a lot of breath work as well as an introduction to a variety of poses with slow and gentle movements.

Iyengar is a school of Hatha Yoga known for the use of props like blocks, cushions, and straps and is very focused on alignment - probably more so than any other style of yoga.

Roll and Release Yoga works into our Myofascia with the aid of massage balls.

Dianne has been practicing Yoga and incorporating its philosophy into her life since 1996, after finding it helped with her anxiety and panic attacks that become noticeable after giving birth and a relationship breakdown.

As the years passed, Dianne began to feel the transformation that yoga had in her everyday life, noticing her practice took on a more passive and meditative quality.

After a work injury left Dianne with a 12% impairment to the spine, daily chronic pain and two years of being unable to work, was a big turnaround from her high impact daily gym classes, nursing and hospitality work.

Anyone who has suffered an injury knows the frustration and depression doesn’t take long to pop up and say hello. It was then through those series of events and circumstances that guided her true inner self, plus a whole lot of courage to go outside of her comfort zone, and take the steps necessary  to study and earn her Yoga Teacher Training certification.

Dianne believes the mind, body and soul connection is a sacred one that should be nurtured and inspired.  Whilst encouraging her students to practice gently with patience and persistence at their own pace, free of competition - whilst still exploring their strengths, working on focus and learning how to find balance on and off the mat.
